SAC Health System is a non-profit community healthcare corporation that serves the Inland Empire region of Southern California. SAC Health System provides affordable and accessible healthcare services for all but primarily serves uninsured patients and their families. SAC Health System accepts Medi-Cal and Medicare and offers many federal, state, and local programs to those who qualify.

History of SAC Health System

SAC Health System was founded in 1977 by a group of students from Loma Linda University who wanted to address the health needs of the underserved population in San Bernardino County. They started by providing free health screenings and referrals at a local church, and later expanded to offer primary care, dental care, mental health, and social services at various locations.

Over the years, SAC Health System has grown to become one of the largest and most comprehensive Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in the nation. It currently operates 10 clinics across San Bernardino and Riverside counties, serving over 100,000 patients annually.

SAC Health System is also a teaching health center (THC) that provides training and education for over 900 medical residents and students from Loma Linda University and other institutions. SAC Health System is committed to reflect the healing ministry and love of Jesus Christ through healthcare, education, and partnerships that empower its communities to flourish.
